Your Source for Photography Education
We provide comprehensive photography education through presentations, demonstrations, and hands on instruction covering the full range of photographic practice. Programs include modern digital photography, camera operation, studio lighting, and post processing or image editing, as well as traditional darkroom techniques and historic or alternative photographic processes. Our goal is to give participants a clear, practical understanding of photography from capture through finished image.
Instruction in digital photography and studio work emphasizes how light, composition, and technical choices shape a photograph, with lessons adapted for beginners through more advanced learners. Post processing instruction focuses on workflow, editing fundamentals, and creative control.
Historic and alternative photographic processes are taught in an approachable, engaging way. Participants may explore processes such as cyanotype, lumen printing, anthotype or chlorophyll printing, solargraphy, and pinhole camera photography. Many of these processes are suitable for youth under appropriate supervision.
Programs may be structured as single presentations, workshops, or multi session classes and tailored for schools, homeschool groups, camps, clubs, museums, historic sites, and individual learners. Instruction can be customized to focus on modern photography, historic processes, or a combination of both.
